Game On was a second year group project, my first Maya project, and was produced
by a group of six students. I held the positions of Director, Technical Director
and Director of Photography (lighting). In these roles I carried out the following
tasks:
- Initial storyboarding and blocktesting, and setup and animation of cameras.
- Lighting Setup.
- Rigid body dynamics for the bouncing cherry.
- Motion path setup and animation for cherries and shot glasses.
- Combining of workspaces.
- Co-ordination of the rendering process.
- Postproduction/compositing and title sequence using Maya and Shake.
I also modelled and textured the cherry, chairs and table.
