Frozen Twilight was my first attempt at animating a quadripedal walkcycle,
as well as my first project using Metacreations Poser and Bryce. I chose to
use a standard Poser horse figure, which I then textured using Photoshop before
starting to animate.
The horse was animated using 47 frame looping cycles. The cycles include walking,
stretching the neck, stopping, standing and starting. The cycles were then
put together using Adobe Premiere. The background scene was created in Bryce,
and I chose to use a single rendered frame, rather than animated water and
clouds, to give an eerie frozen feeling.
Nothing Real Shake was finally used to composite the scene and add post-production
effects such as depth of field and shadows.
